MEET LAURA

I didn’t start SilverKey Senior Transitions from a business model - I started from experience. Years ago, I walked through two major life transitions with my own mom. We faced the same overwhelming decisions that so many families encounter: navigating care options, evaluating communities, coordinating move-in timing, and managing the emotional and logistical load of a physical move. There were long nights, hard questions, and moments where I wished there was someone to help guide us so we knew we were making the right decisions.

Now, as a real estate professional, with every family I help I see how much has changed in the care landscape - and how many options there are today. At the same time, I see how many people try to navigate these decisions alone, and often in a time crunch. I myself had to sign my mom’s lease paperwork on my wedding day! I know firsthand how stressful and confusing it can be when you’re trying to do the “right thing” for someone you love.

That’s why I do this work. I combine real estate expertise with care transition knowledge so that families don’t have to juggle these challenges alone. My goal is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. - Laura Addison, Founder

ABOUT US

At SilverKey Senior Transitions, we understand that moving into a new level of care is more than just a change in housing - it’s a major life transition for your loved one and your entire family. These moments are emotional, complex, and often overwhelming, especially when care decisions intersect with housing and the sale of a longtime home.

SilverKey was founded to provide clarity, support, and guidance when families need it most. We help families navigate assisted living, residential care, memory care and other next-level care options with confidence, compassion, and calm. In addition, we coordinate the sale of homes in a way that supports your transition - aligning timing, strategy, and logistics so nothing essential is left to chance.

We are placement advisors, not salespeople. Out role is to educate, advocate, and guide - helping families understand of their options, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions that feel right for them. We partner with nationally accredited communities and trusted professionals, always guided by what is best for your family.

SilverKey also bridges the gap that many families face between care needs and housing decisions. By combining care placement guidance with real estate expertise, we provide a single point of contact during a stressful time - a steady presence that brings clarity, coordination, and peace of mind.
